Abhyanga This is the most traditional Ayurvedic massage, which applies oil all over the body, following the direction of the body's energy and pressing on the chakra/marma points. It is indicated when there is weakness, malnourished tissues, exhaustion, insomnia, stiffness, vascular problems or infertility. 2. Siro Abhyanga or Champi This Ayurvedic treatment is very popular as it focuses on relaxing marma points on the skull, back, arms, shoulders, neck and face with gentle movements. Its main purpose is to reduce headaches, insomnia and stress and, in turn, improve memory and concentration. It also nourishes the scalp, prevents gray hair and activates spinal fluid. There are also, for example: Siro Dhara Ayurvedic massage, which only constantly massages the forehead but has the same effects. Karnapoorana, which applies oil to the ear (also reduces vertigo and neck stiffness). 3. Udvartana This Ayurvedic treatment works especially for Kapa or Pitta people, as it creates friction on the skin with dry powders to reduce excess body fat, improve the skin, and activate circulation and metabolism.
