Programs
Manicuring, Pedicure and Nail Extension Specialty
This course is 240 hours. It includes training in manicures, pedicures, and nail extensions. It teaches proper work habits and trains for competency in entry level positions as a Nail Technicians. Upon graduation student will receive a diploma. The purpose of this program is to provide a quality education that prepares the student to pass the state board exam and receive a License. To teach students who are prepared, confident and ready to have a successful career in the nail care and salon industry.
Facial and Skin Care Specialty
This course is 260 hours to meet the Florida State Board Requirements. It includes training in facial manipulative skills, waxing and make-up. Developing proper work habits and competency for entry-level positions as an Esthetician, Make-up Artist or any related career. Upon graduation, student will receive a diploma. The purpose of this program is to provide a quality education that prepares the student to pass the state board exam and receive a License.
Full Specialist (Nail & Skin Care Class)
This course is 400 hours to meet the Florida State Board Requirements. It includes training in manicures, pedicures and nail extensions. It includes training in facial manipulative skills, waxing and make-up. Developing proper work habits and the competency for entry-level positions as a Full Specialist or any related career in the beauty industry. The purpose of this program is to teach students who are prepared, confident and ready to have a successful career in the nail care and salon industry.
Cosmetology Program (Complete Program includes Hair, Manicuring, and Facial)
Course is 1200 hours to satisfy Florida State Law requirements. The course includes intensive theory and practical experience in cutting, color and perms. It also emphasizes sanitation, laws and regulations, ethics, salon management, job interviewing, retailing and personal motivation. Upon graduation the student receives a diploma.
Restricted Barber (Includes cutting & shaving.)
Course is 600 hours to satisfy Florida State Law requirements. The course includes intensive theory and practical experience in hair cutting, shave, shampoo, blow dry hair, and apply hair tonics and hair sprays. This course does not include chemical services. It also emphasizes sanitation, laws and regulations, ethics, salon management, job interviewing, retailing and personal motivation. Upon graduation the student receives a diploma.
Barber Program (Complete program, includes cutting, shaving, and chemical services.)
Course is 900 hours to satisfy Florida State Law requirements. The course includes intensive theory and practical experience in chemical services; such as hair color, relaxers, and perms, plus shaving, cutting, trimming, coloring, shampooing, arranging, dressing, curling, or waving the hair or beard; applying oils, creams, lotions, or other preparations to the face, scalp, or neck; and emphasizes sanitation, laws and regulations, ethics, salon management, job interviewing, retailing and personal motivation. Upon graduation, the student receives a diploma.
